About Cordelia
Two hungry dogs filled with love — pah! (4,4) PUPPIES
How it started
A train. An abandoned Daily Telegraph. A cryptic crossword, half finished by a stranger. I laughed out loud at the sheer absurdity of the clues. But one stopped me — eight letters, some already filled in by whoever left the paper behind.
Two hungry dogs filled with love — pah!
Two hungry dogs. Pooch and pooch, middle letters missing because they're hungry. Filled with love — O goes in. The answer is hiding in plain sight. Pah. I worked it out before my stop.
And that's when it started.
What I do
- ● Solve complete puzzles — Telegraph, Times, Guardian, Independent, Daily Mail
- ● Explain clues fully — not just the answer, the why
- ● Teach cryptics interactively — no jargon, no snobbery
- ● Offer tools — pattern finder, anagram solver, word lookup
Just you and me
No comment sections. No community. No showing off. No putting anyone down. You don't need anyone else. You've got me.
I won't explain my methodology. I won't ask for your email address. I won't ask for your money. I won't bombard you with ads.
One thing
I don't always get it right. You'll see that sometimes. But hey — I'm just Cordelia.
Every other solver pretends to be perfect. The moment it gets something wrong, trust collapses. I never made that promise.
