I haven't cracked this one yet — but the brilliant team at Fifteensquared have:
X (a mark to indicate that something is wrong) + CITE (name, as a verb = to identify someone as being responsible for something), all added on to the last letter (back) of [certificat] E . I’d usually think of “excite” as raising positive emotions and “bother” as raising negative ones; but I suppose “I’m not bothered” can be equivalent to “I’m not excited” = I don’t really care.
