Call carvery at last: turkey? It’s not what you would call swan! (9)

I haven't cracked this one yet — but the brilliant team at Fifteensquared have:

BELL (as in “give me a bell” = slang for a telephone call) + last letter of [carver] Y + FLOP (turkey = slang for a failed project, especially a film or stage show). A failed attempt at diving into water, in which the diver lands flat – as distinguished from a swan dive (also called a swallow dive), which is the classic style.
