Anagram (excited) of LASS , around KC (abbreviation for King’s Counsel = lawyer, otherwise known as a “silk” from their formal workwear) reversed (turning up = upwards in a down clue). For once “trousers” is not an inclusion indicator, but means clothing for the lower body.
