I haven't cracked this one yet — but the brilliant team at Fifteensquared have:

N (chemical symbol for nitrogen) in an anagram (broken) of URN , then the last letter (ultimately) of [leak] Y . Runny = description of something liquid, especially when one might expect it to be more solid; for example “runny honey” as opposed to the thicker “set honey”.
