Made Charlie shake less with drugs primarily (7)

I haven't cracked this one yet — but the brilliant team at Fifteensquared have:

C (Charlie in the radio alphabet) + [w] OBBLE (shake) after removing the W (abbreviation for with) = “less with”, then the first letter (primarily) of D [rugs]. Cobble, as a verb = to make [shoes], or to put something together in a clumsy or makeshift way (more usually “cobble together”).
