Pervert isn't in heavy make-up? (8)

I haven't cracked this one yet — but the brilliant team at Fifteensquared have:

WARP (pervert, as a verb = distort) + AIN’T (casual variant of “isn’t”). War paint can be slang for make-up, but I think the sense we need is make-up for a “heavy” = a big aggressive fighter.
