Source of complaint that is about grasping officer (1,4)

I haven't cracked this one yet — but the brilliant team at Fifteensquared have:

Reversal of ( … about ) IE(abbrev. for “id est”/that is) containing ( grasping ) COL(abbrev. for “colonel”, an officer in the military). Defn: …, ie. food poisoning from bacterium.
